Please note: This set replaces the former set #2458402 for visual and photographic application of the MPCC Mark III. The old set consisted of a multitude of rings – but was not adjustable in optical length such as this V-1 set.

The idea for this new and much more versatile set was born after we received this detailed question regarding eyepiece adaptation on MPCC, where we recommended our VariLock and focusing eyepiece clamp as best accessories.

• For visual and photographic observation of planetary nebulae and supernova remnants, even with small telescopes
• Can be used as a "Super-G filter"  replacement for RGB photography. While regular G-filters suffer from bad seeing due to air turbulences, the narrow range of 9 nm passes less thermal noise, i.e. sharper images. Nevertheless, the transmission window is large enough not to be considered a pure narrowband filter.

• A Baader Glaspathcorrector is not a Barlow lens! The reason for this name (in Germany the name Glaswegkorrektor^® is a protected trademark by Baader Planetarium) is only secondly the displacement of the focal point
• A Glaspathcorrector is primarily intended to correct the prismatic color fringing that occurs on Refractors due to the high amount of glasses used in binocular prisms
• Please note: The Baader MaxBright® II Binoviewer with case (#2456460 , € 479,-) is the only Baader-Bino where you can choose between Zeiss ring-dovetail and T-2 thread adapter.

• DT Adapter III, M68a / SP54a extension adapter M68
• Digital T Adapter System III of M68_a on SP54_a Shortest adaptation for Telecentric system or the fluoride Flatfield Converter (FFC).
