9/27/2023 7:09 AM Glasspathcorrector 1:1,70 for Baader-Binoviewer with T-2 thread (MaxBright II® and MaxBright®)
Can the Baader GPC be used for mono viewing with one of the Baader t2 diagonals and a single eyepiece? Cannot replace a Barlow? Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: -1GPCs are solely designed to compensate for the spherical error that is induced into the beam when a large chunk of glass (in this case all the combined prisms built into a binoviewer) would otherwise create a huge color error. So unfortunately, no, a GPC can never replace a barlow lens.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Sep 28, 2023 9:08:00 AMRated: 09/26/2023 10:13 AM Baader 2" ClickLock eyepiece clamps (from T-2 to 4,1")
Could you confirm if the 4.1 UNF click-lock fits to the end of the tube of the focuser of the Bresser AR152S (not the current Hexafoc version, but the previous one).Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0Since we sell neither Bresser telescopes nor Hexafoc focusers, unfortunately we can't answer this question with confidence. Do you have to use spanner wrench to take the 2” adapter off??Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0No, you simply have to loosen the six M2.5 headless setscrews with the included 1.3mm Allen wrench key and then simply slide it out (and replace if needed with our BDS Direct Thread adapters). They are marked with (5) on page six of the instruction manual: https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/downloads/dl/file/id/175/product/2856/instruction_manual_for_all_baader_diamond_steeltrack_bds.pdfAnswer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Sep 26, 2023 8:32:00 AMRated: 09/23/2023 12:19 PM 2" BDS-RT Baader Diamond Steeltrack Focuser

I have this diagonal, I need to clean it, can it be disassembled without losing the "90° collimation"?
Would it be appropriate to use your baader optical wonder liquid and your microfiber after blowing with a blower? Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 1In fact, we do not recommend removing the mirror from the housing because, as you said, it can cause alignment problems when you reassemble it. If at all possible, you should try to clean it inside the housing. Please refer to our general cleaning instructions, which apply to all types of optics, even if not specifically mentioned: https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/downloads/dl/file/id/110/product/0/cleaning_and_maintenance_of_optics_a_short_instruction_guide.pdf
As you describe, this is exactly the procedure we recommend. Coarse impurities are removed with a blower, then the mirror can be gently cleaned with our Optical Wonder Liquid and the enclosed microfiber cloth. Alternatively, you can use original Kleenex tissues in combination with our Optical Wonder Liquid. However, make sure that you are using the original Kleenex cloths without any additives.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Sep 21, 2023 12:27:00 PMBaader Planetarium GmbHOur company exists now for more than 50 years.
