Quick DeliveryWe are off to the US this weekend and will be there for the total eclipse, which we only found out on short notice. Was great to be able to order these glasses and have them so quickly! We'll only be trying them on the 21st August from South Carolina so can't comment yet, but I am sure they will be fineMichelle

Lieferung erfolgte innerhalb weniger Tage, alles klappte einwandfrei (incl. der Vorkassenbezahlung). Sehr erfreulich: das Ganze war versandkostenfrei :-)Klaus Wegener

3/31/2023 3:04 PM Baader FlipMirror II Star Diagonal
I have a Williams Optics FLT-132 and a ZWO ASI183MC Pro CMOS astro camera. Can I attach the astro camera (which will also use ASIAIR for GoTo function) to the back of the flip mirror and then an eye piece to the top of the flip mirror, to simultaneously have the ability to take images of an object as well as see it visually in real time through the eyepiece? Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0Simultaniously taking photos and observe will not work. You can do either/or, not both at the same time. Because the light either hits the mirror and goes to the eyepiece - or it goes straight through the Flip Mirror housing and hit the sensor of your camera.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Mar 31, 2023 3:49:00 PMRated: 03/31/2023 3:49 AM Baader 3.5 / 4nm f/2 Ultra-Highspeed Filter-Set – CMOS-optimized (H-alpha / O-III / S-II)
Should I expect good performance when using a High speed SII filter with a color ASI2600mc camera and Hyperstar? Or only in mono cameras? Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0The filter itself will work as desired. But SII is in the deep red, at around 672nm. So, with a colour camera with RGGB Bayer matrix, only one fourth of the pixels are sensitive for red. That's why a monochrome camera will always be much more sensitive for narrowband photography: It collects the photons with all the pixels, and not only with those which are sensitive for red.
RASA and Hyperstar are more fun with a colour camera and a broadband filter like the new UHC-L (which can be pretty good against LED lamps), as you can then use the whole sensor in one image and don't need to swap filters. If you really want to go into narrowband photography (no matter with which filters) due to high light pollution, a monochrome camera is superior.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Mar 31, 2023 9:00:00 AMRated: 03/30/2023 3:33 AM Baader Guidescope rings BP I - 60-120mm

Hi, do you make an L extreme filter that will fit a Canon L lens with 52mm drop in filter?
The actual glass in the existing filter looks to be around 43mm wide.
Regards
RichardIs Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0Our 2" Filters have a clear aperture of 46mm. Our equivalent to the L-extreme filter would be our UHC-L Ultra L-Booster Filter: https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/baader-uhc-l-ultra-l-booster-filter.html
For adapting any cell mounted Baader 2 inch Filter onto a camera lens with 52mm front filter thread you will need:

Dear Baader, is possible to use the reducer for H alpha visual observations or isnjust a photographic togliere? Thanks! Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: -1Its more a photographic tool. You can use it visually but its not very satisfying because you see an obstruction on the outside and the image is more concentrated and therefore brighter which affects the visual surface contrastAnswer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Mar 27, 2023 8:12:00 AMBaader Planetarium GmbHOur company exists now for more than 50 years.
