• 1¼" Double Stacked Baader Solar Continuum Filter. 8nm / CWL 540nm.
• Includes 1x AstroSolar^® Photo Film OD 3.8 20x29 cm. The filter includes two Baader Solar Continuum Filters in a single filter cell which have been stacked for even higher contrast.
• Enhances the contrast and reduces the effect of atmospheric turbulence.
• This filter must be used in conjunction with a Baader Herschel Wedge or Baader AstroSolar^® Safety Film 5.0 (not included) for solar observations otherwise equipment damage may occur. The included Baader AstroSolar^® Photo Film 3.8 must not be used for visual observation but only for solar photography (e.g. lucky imaging).

• Baader Solar Continuum Filter, 10nm / CWL 540nm
• A must for owners of achromatic refractors. This filter cuts the spectral range transmitting a specific spectral range around 540nm, completely cutting out blue and red wavelengths in an area of the lens system that where the optics are at their sharpest.
• Enhances contrast and reduces the effect of atmospheric turbulence.
• This filter must be used in conjunction with a Baader Herschel Wedge or Baader AstroSolar Safety Film for solar observations otherwise eye or equipment damage may occur.
• Planeoptically polished, non-ageing sealed coating edges.

• Baader Turbo Film 127x51cm (Optical Density: 0,1). Use to protect your telescope and optical equipment against dust and humidity – without reducing the optical quality
• This is the essence of AstroSolar safety film. A highest precision, crystal clear material (not “Mylar”).
• It is a monomer film which we found after thoroughly testing more than 200 different film samples on our Zeiss autocollimator. This film was used in german Science Institutes as optical membrane for nuclear and particle physics experiments. The basic substrate has been further refined and homogenized by a proprietary annealing process that was developed exclusively for us.
• Due to these treatments Turbo Film attains perfect homogeneity and performs equal to a 1/10 wave plane parallel optical window. In fact it has the lowest wedge error of any existing optical window. TurboFilm will protect your valuable optical equipment, close telescope tubes against dust and humidity, greatly reduce air currents – all without reducing the optical quality of your telescope.

We explicitly warn against observing the sun with a DeepSky 6.5 nm (equivalent to 65 Ångstroem) H-alpha narrowband filter, specialized solar chromosphere and prominence filters from SolarSpectrum start at 0.8 Ångstroem. Photographic experiments with a camera are theoretically possible, but by no means observe the sun with naked eyes – you endanger your eyesight!
