In order to fasten the Pan Adjuster in parallel to a main telescope, you need a double mounting plate. The 8" one is very heavy for a GM2000. We suggest the Maxidual from 10Micron:
For a little labour cost we can modify the System in a way that the Pan adjuster works with it. This will enable you to mount two scopes on a GM 2000 while adjusting optical axis of one according to the other.
Pan Adjuster for adjusting the optical axis of parallel mounted telescopes
This high quality, compact rotary stage allows the adjustment of the optical axes of parallel mounted telescopes to each other. The PAN Adjuster is used to adjust 3" or 8" PAN EQ clamps on double mounting plates or mounts of the L-Mount series from PlaneWave Instruments.
The PAN-Adjuster is mounted parallel to the main instrument on the side of the double mounting plate or on the side port of a PlaneWave L-Mount, in order to align and simultaneously operate secondary instruments, such as a RASA or a Newtonian telescopes parallel to the main instrument, in the azimuthal or equatorial design.
