Baader Prism Diagonal T-2/90° 32mm
Do I understand correctly that I can fit in about 50mm of backfocus if I screw the Hyperion Zoom directly to this prism with 2"/2" Inverter Ring – #1508020? Or am I misinterpreting the "optical length" value?
Answer rated: 0Unfortunately, this only works with 2" mirrors. This is because the housing of a 1.25" prism is filled with the glass of the prism so that the lower part of the eyepiece cannot penetrate the housing.

Baader Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV, 8-24mm eyepiece (1¼" / 2")
have this eyepiece and Skywatcher 150p with 2" focuser and about 45-50mm of lightpath to spare. I really want to save my neck and use sky diagonal or a mirror. Is there any way to stick this eyepiece to Baader mirror/diagonal without resorting to glasspath correctors with my constraints? Which one do i need specifically?
Answer rated: 1We are very sorry, we are not aware of any possibility to connect our Hyperion Zoom with a zenith prism to a Newtonian with so little backfocus. The reason for this is that a focal length extending element such as a glass path corrector or a Barlow lens cannot be mounted at the necessary point in the beam path.
