Gut aber nicht PerfektGuter PowerTank zum Betrieb eines Teleskops, bei mir zur Zeit ein Celestron NexStar 127 SLT. Das Durchhaltevermögen des PowerTanks reicht für die ganze Nacht und hat danach immer noch Kapazität übrig, die Bedingung ist grundsätzlich selbsterklärend. Ich habe den PowerTank am oberen Arm der Montierung befestigt, damit vermeide ich das es beim einrichten via 3 Sterne Alignement zu Kabelsalat kommt. Auch lassen sich so für mich die Tasten zum einschalten des Licht's / Power für das Teleskop einfacher ertasten und ich schalte nicht versehentlich das Licht ein welches einen fast erblinden lässt :-) Leider ist ein parallel Betrieb der USB Buchsen und Strom für das Teleskop nicht möglich.masi -

Gut, daß es so was gibt!Durch stetige Erweiterungen des Teleskopzubehörs (wer kennt das nicht...) stellt sich so manche ursprüngliche Kombination als nicht mehr ausreichend aus. In diesem Falle wurde der okularseitige Bereich immer ausladender und auch schwerer (hier speziell durch eine schwerere Kamera). Meine alte G11-Montierung hat aber immer noch Reserven! Lösungsvarianten: 1. - wahrscheinlich sinnvoller: eine verlängerte Losmandy Schwalbenschwanzschiene; Nachteil: es müssen individuelle Bohrlöcher / Gewinde vorhanden sein (auch dafür hat Baader eine Lösung, welche für mich auf die Schnelle aber nicht in Betracht kam) 2. - Nutzung der hier vorgestellten Ausgleichsgewichte! --> die G11 verträgt das noch --> der alte Schwalbenschwanz hat noch Reserven für die Aufnahme solcher, inklusive der notwendigen Reiterklemmen - zur "Sicherheit" habe ich gleich ein Doppelpack bestellt Mit Spannung erwartet, konnte ich zügig feststellen: mein Ungleichgewichtsproblem wurde behoben und die Montierung läuft ohne Probleme und ich habe noch weitere Reserven. Leider zu früh schlapp gemacht.Leider muß ich meine Bewertung vom 29.10.2020 nach unten revidieren. Ich stimme bezüglich der Kritikpunkte mit "Markus" und "EW-SCHWARZWALD" überein. Das mit den "Tasten verwechseln" ist mir ebenfalls passiert und das ist sehr ärgerlich, wenn man aus versehen die Stromversorgung ausschaltet, statt die Leuchte ein. Doch gravierender ist: Ich habe den Powertank am 23.09.2020 bestellt und ihn pfleglich behandelt. Heute, dem 31.08.2022, als ich mein Teleskop einschalten wollte war der Tank plötzlich leer. Ich bin mir zu 100% sicher nicht die Leuchten dauerhaft eingeschaltet gelassen zu haben. Als ich ihn dann aufzuladen versuchte sah alles zunächst normal aus, doch nach einiger Zeit fingen die blauen Leuchtdionen wie wild an zu flackern und es knisterte eigenartig. Kurzum, das Gerät ist zerstört, was sehr schade ist. Ich werde mir dieses Produkt dennoch, trotz enormer Preissteigerung, wieder anschaffen, denn ich sehe nirgendwo eine vernünftige Alternative. Hoffentlich was das jetzt ein Einzelfall und der Ersatz hält länger.FUCHUR

Baader Flanschkopf für EQ6-R PRODer Baader Flanschkopf passt sehr gut auf das alte Hartholzstativ von Baader Planetarium, welches nicht mehr neu zu erwerben ist. Lediglich der Azimutzapfen des Flanschkopfes stieß etwas gegen die Innenseite der EQ6-R PRO Montierung. Deswegen lag die Montierung nicht satt auf dem Flanschkopf auf, weswegen ich den Azimutzapfen bei mir auf der Arbeit um 1,5mm, auf exakt 45mm in der Länge abgedreht und mit der gleichen Fase wieder versehen habe. Hier liegt die Ursache aber in der Fertigungstoleranz der EQ6-R Montierung, welche ja „nur gegossen wird“… Der Azimutzapfen ließ sich in diesem Fall leichter an die EQ6-R Montierung anpassen, als umgekehrt. Kurz gesagt, der Flanschkopf ist sein Geld wert passgenau und macht genau was er soll. Die Montierung sitzt sehr stabil und sicher genug. Gesattelt auf ihr ist ein 12“ Newton mit 21Kg, der die Montierung leider mehr als ausreizt, da 25kg als Gegengewicht nötig sind. Das stört aber den Flanschkopf nicht.Johannes Röll -
Hervorragendes NetzteilDas Netzteil sorgt für eine zuverlässige Stromversorgung meiner Montierung auch bei niedrigen Temperaturen um den Gefrierpunkt. Selbst bei schnellen Bewegungen im Goto-Betrieb gibt es keine Aussetzer o. ä., im normalen Nachführbetrieb läuft die Montierung mit dem Netzteil rund und präzise. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Eine rote anstatt einer grünen Betriebsleuchte wäre besser, da die grüne Leuchte die Dunkeladaption der Augen stören kann, wenn man sie nicht abdeckt.Aldebaran70

Does this prism come without the ClickLock? I would like to go M68 to M68 for imaging. If yes, what is the price and item number?

If you also want to use an m68 thread on the eyepiece-side, then you need the M68 female adapter with the part no. #2458234. Universal Alan Gee II - Telecompressor (UAG II)
Would the Baader - Universal Alan Gee II - Telecompressor work well with my NON-ACF Meade LX200 10” SCT? I usually use for monocular visual astronomy.

Baader 2" Cool-Ceramic Safety Herschel Prism Mark II – (Visual / Photo)
Should one add an UV/IR filter to the optical train as an extra eye protection for visual? If yes, would the #2961570 suffice or should a KG3 glass filter also be added in order to take care of all IR up to 5000nm?
Answer rated: 2The Herschel prism allows only 4.6% of the sunlight to pass through. This applies to all wavelengths, including UV and IR. Nevertheless, additional filters are of course necessary to make visual observation pleasant and, above all, safe. For visual use, you must always use an additional filter behind the Herschel wedge and the ND3 - this may be the Solar Continuum (which is included with the Herschel), another ND-filter or the single 2" polarizing filter #2408342. This filter can be mounted either inside of the 2" eyepiece or in the 2"/1,25"-reducer; if you rotate it, you can change the brightness according to your needs by rotating the eyepiece/adapter.
An additional IR-cut-filter is not necessary for visual use if you use the filters included with our Herschel wedge; it *may* be helpful to achieve sharper images with a CCD if the camera does not have an integrated IR-filter - but then you will usually need the filter for deep-sky-photography, too.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Jun 7, 2024 8:14:00 AMRated: 3
