For years we have been annoyed by the prism dove tail for the 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain optics, which are much too short (if you connect a CCD camera, for example, the optics cannot be balanced ...). That's why we spent a few thousand euros on a continuous casting mould and can have these prism bars made exclusively for us. A real gain in functionality for every Schmidt-Cassegrain optic. The dove tail can protrude from the C8 tube either at the back or at the front (!).
