Important Safety Notice for H-alpha Solar Observation

Our Baader star diagonals are NOT equipped with integrated blocking filters. SThey must never be used as a replacement for the original diagonals with built-in blocking filters supplied with H-alpha telescopes from manufacturers such as Lunt, Coronado, Skywatcher, or Acuter. The use of our star diagonals for H-alpha solar observation is permitted only in combination with complete external filter systems from DayStar, SolarSpectrum, or the Baader SunDancer.

Looking through a Lunt, Coronado, Skywatcher, or Acuter solar telescope without the manufacturer’s supplied diagonal including the blocking filter will result in instant and irreversible damage to eyesight.

Sehr wertig und praktikabel.

Habe den 2" CLICKLOCK Zenitspiegel und die 2" CLICKLOCK Okularklemme mit SC Anschluss zusammen bestellt. Verarbeitung und Wertigkeit sind bei beiden Teilen tadellos. CLICKLOCK Funktion möchte ich jetzt schon nicht mehr missen! Klemmung ist sehr zuverlässig und auch bei sehr schweren Okularen hält diese sehr gut.

wirklich Klasse !

Einsatz am 2" OAZ des 115mm f7 Photoline Triplet APO mit Baader Hyperion Mark IV Zoom Okular - gaaanz wunderbar, keinerlei Probleme da überragende Qualität - sehr zu empfehlen!! Grüße

Sehr robuster und perfekt justierter Zenitspiegel. Es sind keinerlei optischen Verzerrungen erkennbar, Das Bild ist gleichmäßig und verzerrungsfrei.

I bought this product a few days ago but don't want to use it in its native configuration. I will take off the nosepiece and the ClickLock adapter. However, I want to use the ClickLock adapter elsewhere in my setup but will need the 2" SCT adapter (2"/S58) provided with the ClickLock SC/HD (2") clamp (C5" - C9¼") #2956220. I don't want the M55/2"/S58 ring that comes twice with this diagonal but the 2"/S58 ring (without M55 threads) that comes with ClickLock SC/HD (2") #2956220. Best regards, Yves

The 2"/S58 ring is a special adapter only for our 2" SC Clicklock that is unfortunately not sold separately. Please note also that this part does indeed feature a 2" female thread and an S58 dovetail, but beyond the dovetail is a larger extend which is required in the Clicklock and which makes the part most likely unusable for your purpose. I would like to connect an adapter having a male M48x0.75 thread directly to the diagonal with the nosepiece removed (such as the TSFLAT2). The diagonal with nosepiece removed has an SCT female thread, so I need an adapter that will change the SCT female thread to an M48x0.75 female thread. Many people are considering this. Would either of these adapters work for this purpose? Or would you recommend another? 1. Thanks for the quick reply! Knowing that the pieces are indeed separable, I used a pair of soft-jawed pliers and was able to remove the nosepiece after all.

The 2" nosepiece is surely not permanently joined to the S58/M55 adapter, but it is possible that it is tightened very (too) hard. When unscrewed together with the S58 adapter, you could try to hold the S58 adapter with some thick rubber and then try again to loosen the nosepiece. If that doesn't work we could also loosen it for you depending on where you're from, or you might contact your dealer. Although the S58 adapter is normally not sold individually, that would also be an option if everything else fails.
