In Summe, sehr empfehlenswert.
Sehr gute optische und mechanische Qualität, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Knife sharp quality in solid design that ensure stability and amazing experiences of the night sky.
I need a very short optical path length diagonal. 2456005 seems perfect for my need but I'm interested in knowing if this (2456005K) diagonal is the same as 2456005, just with nosepiece and eyepiece holder?
Ahmet / February 17, 20261 Answer
Yes, correct. The 2456005K and the 2456005 diagonals are the same optical unit. The only difference is that the 2456005K version includes the additional nosepiece and eyepiece holder. Everything else, including the optical path length and performance, is identical.

I wonder if Baader Zenith Prism Diagonal T-2/90 ° with 32mm Prism (T-2 part #14) be the best choice for Meade Infinity 80, 400 mm for terrestrial viewing or there is something other?
And is it good to combine this diagonal with Baader 36mm Hyperion Aspheric 2" Eyepiece and Hyperion Zoom 2.25x Barlow lens, again only for terrestrial viewing?
Ivailo Kolev / May 19, 20231 Answer
- The combination with our diagonal should work fine on your telescope. When you combine the prism with 2" eyepieces you will experience vignetting, the 32mm prism cannot illuminate the almost 50mm 2" field of viewBaader Web Team / May 24, 202310

I want to replace an existing straight T2 to 1.25 helical focusser on a TS 60 mm guidescope. I measured the distance from the T2 thread to the focal plain (flange of the eyepiece) as 78 mm when in focus. Will this diagonal/focusser combination work (if I take off the nose piece)?
I have a photo with a ruler if that would help. I just wanted to check I interpreted the optical distances in your diagonals overview correctly.

I have Baader Zenith Prism Diagonal T-2/90 ° with 32mm Prism (T-2 part #14) # 2456005K. I bought a 1.25" Baader ClickLock Eyepiece Clamp. I cannot attach it to this diagonal because the ClickLock and the diagonal are both female threads. How do I attach it?
Chris / January 26, 20231 Answer
- When you (or anyone else) removed the previous 1 1/4" eyepiece clamp mounted on top of the prism housing, most likely at that occasion the extension adapter from the female 36.4 ("Vixen") thread onto the male T-2 thread inadvertedly got unthreaded as well. So either you would find that ring at the bottom of the eyepiece clamp that was attached onto the prism housing before, or someone else had removed a previous clamp and did not notice that this "thread-adapter" got removed as well. You might contact your dealer - or buy that ring separately: https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/baader-adapter-m36.4--t-2-(t-2-part-03).htmlBaader Web Team / January 27, 202300

Does your Zenith diagonal 2456005K/ prism-1 have a stop in the eyepiece holder to stop a barlow lens from hitting the prism?
Rod / January 6, 20232 Answers
- After hearing some customer feedback and rechecking, we can now confirm that the eyepiece holder does indeed have a stop that prevents prism contact with a 1.25” barrel after all. We're sorry about the confusionBaader Web Team / August 7, 202300
- There is no internal stop in the prism - but you can use one of our stop rings https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/baader-fr-4-focusing-ring-collar-1%C2%BC%22-(t-2-part-30).htmlBaader Web Team / January 9, 202300
