2" to 1¼" Reducer – with 2" filter thread

We would not recommend using the #2408190 in this application. Although it features a T-2 thread, the female T-2 thread is recessed deeply inside the housing. Depending on the mating adapter, the outer shoulder may bottom out before the thread is fully engaged.

Both are specifically designed for direct attachment to T-2 accessories such as our T-2 BBHS® diagonals.

No, this will not work. This is a 2" (outside) connector that fits in 2" eyepiece clamps. So there can't be a 2" internal thread. The 2" connector has internally a 48mm filter thread and a T-2 thread.
