I'd like to use ring 2958242 to attach Mark IV zoom to a Tasco spotting scope. This spotting scope has a detachable eyepiece but I can't mount zoom directly on it. This spotting scope has a T2 external thread, so my plan is to screw expansion ring to the T2 male thread and the Mark IV to the 50,8 thread, through the ring used for 2" barrell. Would it work? Thanks in advance.
