Hier wackelt nichts.
Leicht zu montieren. Hält ohne Spiel.

If the M42 has a thread of 0.75 mm, what is the thread on M43 side? Is it 1 mm or also 0.75?
Deme / September 17, 20241 Answer
It is an M43x0.75mm thread.

I'm trying to configure a Flip Mirror II so that I can use it on my Celestron C8, with 2 inch eyepieces on the top port and also on the rear port for eyepiece projection photography. I'm not sure what eyepiece holders I should get for each port, especially since they have different threads. I have the 2 inch Flip Mirror II, an SCT to T2 adapter for the telescope side, and a T2 to Canon R mount adapter for the camera side. Any help would be appreciated.

- The field stop of the eyepiece and the camera sensor should be at the same distance from the mirror, then both are sharp at the same time. Usually this is achieved with a focusing eyepiece clamp like Baader Focusing Eyepiece Holder 1¼" / T-2 # 2458125, but we do not have one for 2". So you probably should do the following: Take e.g. Baader 2" ClickLock T-2 (M42i x 0.75) clamp # 2956242 - height 36,6mm Baader 2" to 1¼" ClickLock Reducer (T-2 part #15B) # 2956214 - height 9.5mm Choose one eyepiece which you want to bring to the same focus point as the camera (you can also make several eyepieces parfocal with stop rings like Baader Hyperion 2" Finetuning Stopring # 2958027 and Stop Ring 1¼" # 1905131) Now, the problem is that the position of the field stop of an eyepiece is not standadized, most are on the connection between eyepiece body and 1.25" nose piece, so it will be approximately 47mm away from the Flip Mirror, if you use 2" Clicklock plus 1.25" adapter. The Flange focal length of the Canon R is 20mm plus the length of the adapter (8.3 mm in the case of our Baader Wide-T-Ring Canon R # 2408336, other rings may vary in thickness). If camera plus adapter are e.g. 28.3mm long, you can use Baader VariLock 29, lockable T-2 ExtensionTube 20-29mm # 2956929 to achieve a length of 48.3-57.3mm. That's a little bit too long, so you can add a T-2 Fine-Adjustment ring 1mm # 2457913 to the eyepiece clamp, or maybe even a Baader T-2 / 7.5 mm Extension Tube # 1508155. But this depends on the focus position of your reference eyepiece. The Varilock has got the advantage that you can focus and lock the camera in such a distance that it is parfocal with your chosen eyepiece.Baader Web Team / May 8, 202300
