Would I need a different T2 to 2" adapter?
Also I am going to use a mpcc III coma corrector. Will I need something else to avoid vignetting as well with the corrector?
Baader Wide-T-Ring Sony E/NEX Bayonet with D52i/M48 to T-2 und S52 # 2408317
On its product side, you can see the difference between T-2 and M48:
Due to mechanical limitations, on some cameras, the free aperture is still limited to 41mm, while e.g. Canon uses a wider bayonet and offers up to 48mm of free aperture. To maximise the free diameter, you need another 2" nosepiece: 2" / S52 Nosepiece # 2958551
So, a wide T-ring will remove vignetting as much as possible, but on some camera brands the camera bayonet is the bottleneck, not the T-2-thread. Please check the free aperture of your camera and the corresponding Wide-T-ring for further details.
Please also check the complete optical length – the Wide-T-rings do not all provide the standard T-2-flange distance of 55mm, so you may need some spacers. (This was done to make them work with configurations where you need to fight for every millimeter.) You can see the differences by comparing their optical length to that of the standadr T-ring, the data is given in the technical data of each T-ring.
