8/5/2022 8:41 PM Alan Gee Telecompressor Mark II (T-2 part #20)
I'm traying to search for a flattener, reducer to use with my Meade ACF 12" and give me the best result with an APSC sensor (3,76µ/px). I can see that the Alan Gee Telecompressor has been not developed to support airy disc sizes less that 8 micron.
Then my question is ¿wich is the best reducer to adapt to this combination ACF + APSC (3,76µ/px)?
Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: -1We are very sorry in this case we cannot give a recommendation because our reducers are designed for SC telescopes. We never tried them with ACF telescopes. Please ask the manufacturer of your telescope which reducer works best.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Aug 8, 2022 12:40:00 PMRated: 08/4/2022 6:06 PM Baader FlipMirror II Star Diagonal
What adapters would I need to use filpmirror 2 with a skymax 127?Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0You could use Baader 1¼" T-2 nosepiece with Safety Kerfs # 2458106 to attach the FlipMirror to any 1.25" eyepiece holder.
But as both the SkyMax and the FlipMirror have got T-2-threads, it would be much sturdier (and often shorter) to simply screw them together.
To change the orientation of the FlipMirror, you can use e.g.
Baader TQC/TCR Heavy duty T-2 Quick Changing System (T-2 part #06A & #07) # 2456322
or
Baader Complete T-2 Changer System (T-2 parts #06 & #07) # 2456321
You could also use a small T-ring like T-2 Locking ring with lever - for MaxBright® II # 2458271 as counter nut to fix the FliMirror in a conveniant orientation on the thread, but we'd recommend this only if you don't need to change the orientation too often. It also depends on the length of the T-thread on your telescope if there is enough place to safely attach both the rind and the FlipMirror.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Aug 5, 2022 9:20:00 AMRated: 18/3/2022 8:31 AM Baader UFC (Universal Filter Changer)
I can’t find a telescope side M63 adapter. A 2.5” focuser with this thread spec is pretty standard so I’m surprised it is not there. Is there an S70 to make M63 product somewhere that I could use? I know you have an M63 male to M68 female part but that uses up valuable Backfocus. Thanks. Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0Sorry, it is correct that we don't have a direct UFC S70 to M63 adapter available and also currently have no plans to add this to our portfolio. If the backfocus gets to long by combination with our M68 to M63, we recommend to contact www.preciseparts.com and ask them if they can make a direct adapter for you. They can contact us if in doubt about the measurements of the S70 dovetail.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Aug 3, 2022 10:58:00 AMRated: 18/2/2022 1:24 PM Baader V-Dove Tail Clamp, Diam. 70mm, with one clamp screw

Can you use these filters on slower telescopes? But for people who own fast (f2-f3) and slow telescopes (f5-f6), would be nice to avoid purchasing both, the "normal" ones and the highspeed..Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0Unfortunately this cannot work because the laws of physics do not allow it. Please read here about why the filters got optimized and how to select the right filters for your telescopes: https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/blog/preshift-and-further-information-concerning-baader-cmos-filters/Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Aug 2, 2022 11:43:00 AMBaader Planetarium GmbHOur company exists now for more than 50 years.
