Does the Solar Continuum filter block or transmit Infra red or UV?Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0This filter blocks everything from 300 nm up to 1200 nm - except for a "clean" solar continuum-area at 540 nmAnswer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Feb 26, 2021 3:12:00 PMRated: 02/26/2021 10:43 AM BCF 2 - DSLR Astro Conversion Filter for Canon Full-Format Cameras (all latest Models)

I would like to attach the Sky Surfer V to an Orion 180mm Mak-Cass. The spacing between the available finder scope screws is 0.75 inches (approximately 19mm). This spacing appears to be too narrow for the Baader Standard Base that comes with the Sky Surfer V. Is it acceptable to use the center hole plus one of the slots to attach the base to the Mak-Cass or to maybe use only the center hole? If neither approach is acceptable do you have a dovetail mounting base that will work with a 19mm attachment screw spacing? Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0It is no problem to attach the base to a round tube only with the central screw - the form of the base makes it impossible that it rotates on the telescope, and one screw is sufficient to hold the weight.
Only on a flat surface or if you can't tighten the screws, you will need two screws.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Feb 26, 2021 10:27:00 AMRated: 02/25/2021 12:57 PM Baader 2" ClickLock Diagonal Mirror
Hey! I wonder whether it'll work well with Skywatcher 72ED?Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 1It seems that this telescope has a little problem with eye pieces of short focus lenghtes that the focuser cannot travell deep enough (in-focus).
Obviously SkyWatcher is aware of this problem, the tube of the newer models are 10mm shorter.
Okay, about our star diagonal you can find here more information according the lengthes:
https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/blog/optical-tube-lengths-of-2-clicklock-and-bbhs-mirror-diagonals/
Maybe you can turn in the focuser fully and picture the moon on a white sheet of paper (without eye piece/ star diagonal) so you´re able to
measure the distance with a ruler to find out the back focus length.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Feb 26, 2021 9:59:00 AMRated: 02/24/2021 7:01 PM Baader 2"/90° Astro Amici-Prism with BBHS ® coating
Baader 2"/90° Astro Amici-Prism with BBHS ® coating + Baader 2" NexStar locking ring is compatibe with OTA Nextar Evolution 9.25?Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0Yes this will work. Just unscrew the visual-back and turn down fully the locking ring. Then unscrew the 2" nose piece off and turn down the
amici prism fully. Now just turn back to your appropriete position, maybe up-rigt, then turn back the locking ring to fix this position.
