can you tell me the outer diameter of a zeiss micro bayonet male fitting? i have a japanese zeiss copy from the 1950s and i want to see if this adapter will work with it (e.g, i need to know whether the japanese microscope bayonet is a zeiss fit).Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0Unfortunately, this will not work. The Carl Zeiss Jena Astro-ring-dovetail has got a different dimension than any of the micro-dovetails of either Zeiss- East or Zeiss-West microscopes.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Feb 24, 2021 4:25:00 PMRated: -12/22/2021 7:43 PM Baader 2" ClickLock eyepiece clamps (from T-2 to 4,1")
I have a Celestron Nexstar 8SE and want to switch to clicklock system instead. Which model fits the end of the telescope? Is there a clicklock model that fits the Celestron star diagonal that came with the telescope with model no. 94115-A? Or do I need to switch to a new star diagonal? If so, which one? I use 1.25 "eyepieces.
Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0There are several ways to put a Clicklock clamp onto your telescope. You can unscrew the visual back and put on:
https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/baader-2%22-nexstar-locking-ring..html Then remove the 2" nose pice from:
https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/accessories/optical-accessories/prism-and-mirror-star-diagonals/baader-2%22-clicklock-diagonal-mirror.html
Now you´re able to thread the diagonal on the telescope fully and turn it back maybe to the up-right position and lock it. This is the most compact
way to have a fine diagonal and a ClickLock clamp is including. For the 1,25" eye pieces you´ll need a reducer like:

What size Filters (Neutral Density, etc) do I buy for my Morpheus and Hyperion Eyepieces? Sorry about asking such a lame question but I chose Morpheus specifically because they (as well as an Hyperion I've ordered) were listed in the 2" Eyepiece category from OPT (I have an Omni XLT 150 w/2" eyepiece). But I need to put my 6.5mm Morpheus into a 2-1.25" adapter, and it's the 1.25" end that attaches to the Filter, correct? So for my 2" Morpheus (and Hyperions) I actually use 1.25" Filters, yeah? Help!Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 01,25" filters fit directly onto the eyepieces; only the Hyperion Aspheric 31mm and 36mm require 2" filters.
Most adapters from 2" to 1.25" also have a 2" filter thread, so that you can put a 2" filter into that adapter and use all 1.25" eyepieces with 2" filters.
The focal lengths and true field of view of the (not Aspheric) Hyperions and Morpheus eyepieces are short enough that 1.25" filters are sufficient.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Feb 22, 2021 2:53:00 PMRated: 02/19/2021 9:23 PM Baader 36mm Hyperion Aspheric 2" Eyepiece
In order to use this eyepiece for eyepiece projection with the Nikon Z6, what parts do I need beside the Nikon Z wide T-ring? Will there be any vignetting? Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0According your question you´ll find under Downloads our PDF document about digiscoping which shows you all the possibilities to adapt:
https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/downloads/dl/file/id/444/product/1217/digiscoping_camera_adaptations_for_afocal_photography_and_eyepiece_projection.pdf
If the distance eye piece <-> camera is too short you´ll see dark corners in the image. This is not a vignetting but the exit pupil of the eye piece is
just too close to the camera sensor.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Feb 22, 2021 10:58:00 AMRated: 02/15/2021 2:12 PM Bundle: Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV with Hyperion-Barlow 2.25x (8-24mm / 3.6-10.7mm)
Will I be able to use Hyperion-Barlow 2,25 with the eyepieces from other manufactures and Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV with other barrows? Is Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0With the included adapter A, you can use it with every eyepiece which has got a 1.25" filter thread. Please note that the length of the 1.25" nose pieces is not standardised, so that the actual magnification factor may vary slightly.
You can use every barlow lens with the Hyperion Zoom, no problem.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Feb 16, 2021 9:20:00 AMBaader Planetarium GmbHOur company exists now for more than 50 years.
