Mounts from Eckhardt Alt
ALT mounts cannot shine either through voice control or through Internet support, but they certainly belong to the most precisely functioning and at the same time highest instrument load bearing mounts. For many years, Baader Planetarium has exclusively supplied the mounts manufactured by Mr. Alt, both individually and largely by hand. Mr. Alt has been retired for several years now.
At this point we would like to thank Mr. E. Alt for the many years of good cooperation and wish (albeit with regret) a pleasant, well-deserved retirement.
If you have any service questions concerning ALT mounts, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will forward your inquiry if necessary.
On our old www.baader-planetarium.de website we had an extensive presentation of the ALT mounts, which we would like to make available to you here as a reference in PDF form (sorry, German language only). At the current time (January 2019) we still have very few ALT mounts in stock and this is probably the last opportunity to purchase such a mount. We do not offer these as single products on our website, if you are interested, please contact us.

I managed to get the focus with my hershel baader and my TS-Optics RFT 6" f/5.9 refractor , but I am forced to take the glasspath of my barlow VIP and put it on my bino and the super it works.
I would like to know which glasspath to take to have the same magnification factor but no more. I use it with a pair of panoptic 24 MN and I would like to keep the entire disc in the bino.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLYIs Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: 0The Glasspathcorrector 1:2,60 for Baader-Binoviewer # 2456317 is very similar the Barlow lens in the VIP barlow with only a slightly different optical design to achieve the colour correction. You can install it the same way as the lens element of the VIP and should get the same magnification.
Depending on the version of your Herschel prism, there may be even shorter adaptations, so that you can use lower magnifications - we have recently (spring 2024) updated the manual of our Herschel wedge # 2956510 to better show the use with old and new models of our Herschel wedge.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Apr 22, 2024 9:18:00 AMRated: 2

The camera has a screw thread for a lenss
Please advise the best productIs Answered? Yes (1 answer)
Answer rated: -1We are very sorry we have no filters with threads for mounting on lenses of compact cameras. You can make your own filter with an sheet of AstroSolar 20x30cm https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/solar/whitelight/astrosolar-safety-film-od-5.0-(20x29-100x50-117x117-cm).html or you can check if one of our ASTF or ASBF filters https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/solar/whitelight.html
fits for your needs. For this, you need to measure the diameter of your cameras front lens and compare with the values in this table https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/downloads/dl/file/id/299/product/2986/baader_solar_filters_clamping_range.pdfAnswer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Apr 12, 2024 3:20:00 PMBaader Planetarium GmbHOur company exists now for more than 50 years.
