In follow-up to my first question, please tell me the mechanical length of this device, really its optical length in mm from mating surface to mating surface excluding the protruding threads. The charts you mentioned do not provide this information, and I need to determine if there is sufficient backfocus distance on my optic to install it.
I have a hyperstar 9.25 and a QHY 294c. This adapter (Baader UFC S70 / C11/C9.25 Hyperstar, SC, HD Telescope-Adapter), the baader UFC, and the Baader UFC T-2 (m) Camera-Adapter is enough to have good backfocus?
We already published the important data how to find out the right adaption, please see <<Important note on Hyperstar-Adaptation>>
Just substrackt from the 60,4mm back focus length the camera (17,5mm) so you see that you have 42,9mm left for the UFC.
#2459132 is 4,1mm
#2459110 is 13mm
#2459115 is 2mm
These would be the Items you´ll need anyway but still 23,8mm left to bridge with extenders like:
2459141 is 5mm
2459145 set to 18,8mm

I have Celestron Evolution 8 EdgeHD scope with a 2" SCT thread on the rear cell. I am struggling to find the correct model diagonal for that rig, can you please provide additional information? I read the primer helpfully provided, but there are two options that are both recommended, the SCT-Clicklock visual back + the clicklock diagonal CLDIAG-2, and the same diagonal but this time mounted somehow flush on rear cell. Which is actually better? The eyepiece I was most is my Mark IV 8-24mm Zoom w/Barlow combo, if that matters.
The ideal backfocus of the Edge HD 8 telescope is 133,35mm behind the 2" thread on the rear end. The closer you come with the eyepiece field stop to this point, the better is the star image on the edges of the field. The mirror has 112m optical length. The ClickLock 2" clamp for the rear end of the telescope has 47mm optical length. Means either way works similar good, you are always a little more tahn 20mm from the ideal focus point, wich is not an issue for visual observation with this telescope, especially not when observing with high magnification. When attaching a camera, you will need to take care that you are exactly in the right distance with the CCD sensor, as described in the manual of the telescope.

Our company exists now for more than 50 years. In this time, more than 15.000 Baader Planetariums (the first patented product of our company) help all over the world to give students an understanding of astronomical correlations. In our own manufactory, more than 500 observatory domes have been produced and delivered turnkey-ready. Instruments and telescope accessories from "Baader" are known for their high qualities by many astronomers and universities. We consider it our duty and obligation, not only to sell telescopes, but an indivdually selected telescope system, that brings you a lifetime of joy.
