What's the actual size of your 2" filters in "mm" with and without frame/ring? What step down adapter is suggested from a 52 mm to "-- mm"?

I use 1 1/4 eyepieces on a SOlar wedge. For nighttime observing, I use a T2 Zeiss prism diagonal with a 2" nosepiece (which sits in a 2" focuser). I already have a 1 1/4 " polarising filter which fits onto my eyepieces. Can I combine this with a 2" polarising filter, to be put before the prism, and use the combination as a variable polariser for lunar observation (i.e. one polarising filter before the prism and a second one after the prism, and conveniently rotating the eyepiece to get the desired dimming)? This would be very practical, if it works, but will this setup be less good than a dedicated 1 1/4 inch variable polariser?

What is the transmission of this filter and would it allow Ultraviolet (320nm - 438nm) light through?
If so would it worked in conjunction with the Baader U-Venus-Filter on a multispectral camera?

Is it possible to use two, 2 inch Baader single polarizing filters together, one fixed in the front of a Baader Amici Prism and another mounted in the other end of the prism, say in a Baader 2-1 1/4 inch eyepiece adaptor, and ROTATE the 2-1 1/4 inch adaptor to create a variable polarizing effect?

I have a number of Hyperion & Morpheus eyepieces, and I want to use 2 single polarizing filters to control moonlight, etc. I'll attach a 2" filter to the diagonal, but where should I put the second (either a 2" or 1.25") filter on the eyepiece? And where should it go on the Morpeus? If, on the Hyperion, it goes between the nosepiece and the body, will that affect the characteristics of the eyepiece?

Description

Details

Baader Polarizing Filter

To screw into 1¼ or 2" eyepieces/threads. Useful in Lunar and Solar observations to limit brightness and increasing contrast.

The filter can also be used with a Baader Hershel Wedge to provide an adjustable brightness. Positioned between the Baader Hershel Wedge and Eyepiece the filter/eyepiece combination can then be rotated to adjust brightness.

Important Information for Observing the Sun

Polarizer and neutral density filters need additional filtering (for example, Herschel Prism or Astro Solar Safety Film) before the eyepiece of the telescope for observations of the sun. Using without the appropriate filters can cause damage to the these filters and eyesight.
