Please, where in this focuser should my f/6.3 Celestron focal reducer (CFR) go? Currently, my imaging train would be:

Is there an adapter that will fit the male threads of Celestron 925 Edge HD on the rear cell and also fit the back of the @"BDS-SC female threads with the 2" adapter removed.
Second question: Is this advisable?

Am i right in thinking, to rotate the entire focuser housing after installation to align with the OTA, its the 6 black flat head screws that loosen to allow this to be achieved ?

Do you think that 2" BDS-SC Focuser can replace the Zero Image Shift Microfocuser on 10" LX-200-ACF (GPS + AutostarII / Dated 2009) from Meade ? Or can you propose another solution with fine-focus mechanism, even it is in manual mode ? Thank you very much for your answer.

I have a BDS-SC/HD which I am using on a Meade LX-85 6" ACF with a Pentax KP camera attached via a T2 adapter. It works very well, thank you.

My question is, will your UHC-S / L-Booster-Filter 2" fit internally in the BDS-SC/HD? If not, do you have another method to use the UHC-S filter with the setup mentioned above?

Hi. Can your BDS-SC focuser be fitted to the m90x1 thread on the GSO Ritchie Cretian 6” and 8”? The Crawford focuser sold with these scopes are very substandard.

Does the S58 dovetail mean that the steeltrack effectively has a rotator built in? I mean, if I use an S58 dovetail to M48 adapter for example to thread into my imaging train, I could then clamp it down onto the steeltrack in any chosen orientation of the camera?

Will it work with a 6" Classical Cassegrain? And if so, will it reach focus on its own, without the need for extension rings?

To answer this question, we need to know the backfocus of your telescope. If it is not given in the instructions, you need to measure it.
Eitherpoint it at the moon and put a piece of of paper behind it, so that you can see a sharp image - the distance between paper and telescope is the back focus. Or, if you already have a focuser, point it at the stars with either a camera attached or star diagonal and eyepiece, and measure the length of your focuser. Pleas note that eyepieces, DSLRs and astronomical cameras all have different optical lengths! A DSLR requires 55mm of backfocus, a CCD-camera often only about 1cm, and a 2" star diagonal about 11cm - so may work with an eyepiece and star diagonal without extensions, while a CCD-camera may require an extension.

The SC-version of the Steeltrack has got a focus travel of 30mm, so if you are switching between a 2" star diagonal and an astronomical CCD-camera, you will require an extension. The possible minimum heights are as follows
as supplied, incl. 2" clamp: 93 mm
with optional S58 direct-thread adapters: 80 mm

The RT-version for refractors may fit too, it has got a longer focus travel of 80mm and the following minimum lengths:
as supplied, incl. 2" clamp: 70 mm
with optional S58 direct-thread adapters: 59 mm
with optional S58-ClickLock clamp: 89 mm
You have to check the manual to see if one of the adapter threads matches your telescope, or if you need to manufacture a special adapter.

The SC version has got a shorter focus travel as you are more flexible with a Schmidt-Cassegrain and its moveable ain mirror than with a refractor telescope.

I want to replace my stock focuser on my Omegon Ritchey-Chretien Pro RC 304/2432 Truss OTA with the 2" BDS-SC Baader Diamond Steeltrack. I need an adapter ring that will fit the Steeltrack to the OTA's M117 male thread. Could you advise which would be suitable?

I need to use this focuser on a telescope with a very short backfocus. The scope has a 2"-24 (SC) male thread.
I see that this focuser has a min. height of 93mm but it is mentioned that this S58 adapter can be used to reduce the height to 80mm: https://www.baader-planetarium.com/en/baader-2%22-clicklock-eyepiece-clamps.html#574=936

My question is: can the focuser with the S58 adapter can fit on the 2"-24 (SC) male thread?

I have an ETX-125 (Mak) with a Wegat back. The output port is technically an SCT thread 2-24 (2’’ diameter, UNF 24 thread).
I also own a Diamond Steelrack SC which has a 2’’ 1.0 (metric) thread.
The threads are incompatible despite both being called SCT.
Do you sell an adapter from thread UNF24 to 1.0 ? otherwise what are my options ?

Can I confirm that the focuser can be easily rotated to frame a desired field of view? The "specifications" section indicates that it is rotatable, but I see nothing in the instruction manual to indicate how this is achieved.

I would like to know 1) if and how I can fit this focuser to my Skywatcher MAK127 (bought ~2 years ago) ; do I need some kind of adapter ? will the original focusing knob at the visual back of the MAK still be accessible ?
