Conditions
You can revoke the purchase within 14 days, without stating reasons. Revocation is effective when provided in writing (e.g. letter, fax, e-mail) or - if you have already received the ordered items - by returning the goods. The time limit starts after receipt of this notification in writing, but not before you, or a third person appointed by yourself (other than the forwarder) has/have taken possession of the last (partial) delivery. To exercise your right of cancellation, you have to inform us by means of a clear written statement of your decision to withdraw from this contract. Please use our Revocation Form. The buyer bears the direct cost of returning the goods. The deadline for revocation shall be considered as kept, if the revocation or the goods have been dispatched in time. Consequences of revocation
In the case of an effective revocation the mutually received benefits including additional benefits such as interest are to be returned. If you can not return the goods and benefits, or can only return them partially or in deteriorated state, you have to provide compensation. You only have to provide compensation for the deterioration and derived benefits, if the benefits or deteriorations derive from using the goods in a way that exceeds handling for ascertaining the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. This means that goods must only be handled in the way that would be possible and common when testing products in a retail store. Obligations to reimburse payments must be fulfilled within 30 days. For our repayments we use the same method of payment that you have applied in the original transaction, unless explicitly agreed otherwise from both parties. In no event will you be charged fees for such repayment. The period begins for you when you send your revocation declaration or dispatch the goods, for us with their reception.
The buyer bears the direct cost of returning the goods. The buyer is liable for self-inflicted deterioration, destruction or other impossibility of returning. You only need to compensate for any diminished value of the goods when such loss in value is originating from using the goods in a way that exceeds the handling for ascertaining the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Notes on exclusion of the right of revocation
The right of revocation is invalid for goods that have been specially produced according to the consumer's specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs of a private or public customer; which were specially imported for a customer from abroad; which have already been demonstrated to the customer before purchase (e.g., at trade shows or sales events); or which are not suitable for return due to their condition. The right of revocation is also invalid for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software, if the data carriers have been unsealed by the customer. The right of revocation generally does not apply to merchants or legal persons under public law or public law special funds.
Notes on return shipments
The procedures described in this section ("Notes on return shipments") are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the above right of revocation of the contract.
Customers are requested to notify the seller of any intended return shipment in advance (Tel .: +49 (0) 8145-8089-0 / Fax: +49 (0) 8145-8089-105 / Email: kontakt (at) baader-planetarium.de ). In this way, you help us to assign all incoming shipments as quickly as possible. Prepay the postage of your return shipment sufficiently and keep the admittance receipt. Please note that we cannot accept shipments that are not paid for, due to the high additional charges. Clients are requested to avoid damage, deterioration or contamination of the product. Goods should be returned in original packaging with all included accessories. In any case, a suitable packaging should be used to provide sufficient protection against transportation damage and to avoid any claims for deterioration because of damage due to faulty packaging.
