2015 or earlier LRGB filters. Do they have the /\ mark?
I bought some an SBIG filter wheel FW5-8300 that came with 36 mm unmounted LRGB filters in 2015 *used*. The original owner claimed that the filters are Baader filters. No filter cases came with my purchase.
Recently, I examined the filters and found that
the L filter had an /\ mark on the edge which is what I believe Baader filters should have. But the RGB filters do not. Question: Do the Baader filters always have had /\ marks on them? If not is there a way to check whether they are Baaders?
When inserting a GPC (2.6) into the adapter #27 (for binoviewing w. the Wedge), the GPC touches the ND filter. How can this be avoided? I could attach an empty 2 inch filter cell to gain some depth, but this is not mentioned in the Solar Wedge's manual. Am I doing something wrong?
You are not doing something wrong, unfortunately the space is limited in the Herschel Wedge body. If the body would be bigger, the lightpath would be longer and a lot of more telescopes could not reach focus with this item. The idea with the empty filter cell is nice, you should do so
