Bundle: Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV with Hyperion-Barlow 2.25x (8-24mm / 3.6-10.7mm)
Hello, I already have one of first version of the Hyperion zoom (there's only written Hyperion 8-24mm Clickstop-Zoom (Phantom Group Coated)) and I want to ask you: can I use it in pair with a Mark IV or III with a binoviewer..? Or should I avoid because of different size of the barrel...or different size of exit pupils ? Thank you very much for your answer and attention. Saluti

Fluorite Flatfield Converter (FFC) / 3x-8x
Can this FFC be used with a SCT such as a Celestron C6 or C8 for imaging in at T2 imaging train?

OPFA - Eyepiece Projection adapter ( I - VII )
Which Eyepiece Projection Adapters are compatible with Celestron Schmidt Cassegrain Telesopes.
Answer rated: 0OPFA-3 for Celestron 2" SC-Thread #2458143 can be attached directly onto the 2" SC-thread on the back of all Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrains.
OPFA-2 for 2" eyepiece clamps #2458142 fit's into all 2" eyepiece clamps and is the probably the most versatile option.
OPFA-1 for 1 ¼" eyepiece clamps #2458141 fits into 1.25" eyepiece clamps.
If possible, we'd recommend OPFA-2 (easier handling, sturdier than a 1.25" eyepiece clamp) or OPFA-3 (the sturdiest version, holds even heavy cameras safe, but has to be screwed onto the telescope). OPFA-1 and OPFA-2 should only be used with good eyepiece clamps which have a sturdy clamping ring instead of only one simple clamping screw pressing onto the eyepiece/OPFA.Answer by: Baader Web Team (Admin) on Aug 15, 2022 1:20:00 PMRated: 1

Baader SC / HD Ultra Short T-Adaptor, 9mm optical length
The 2", 24 turns-per-inch thread does not appear to be a standard thread in any of the UNF, UNC or Whitworth lists. All threads have dimensional tolerances (permitted dimensional deviations). The standards, such as ISO 965 for metric threads or ASME/ANSI B1.1 for Unified National threads, specify these. How are the permitted dimensional deviations defined for this product please? My reason for asking is that I want to be very sure that £2000 worth of camera equipment held in place by this product will not fall off. The consequences could be serious.

My adaptor arrived this morning and I have attached it to the telescope. It works just fine, does not “jiggle” or “wiggle” and I applied as much force as I dared to try to pull it off. It didn’t even almost pull off.
I am pleased to hear that you and Celestron have shared a detailed specification. I don’t need to know what’s in it. The fact that there is one is enough to reassure me.

2" BDS-SC Baader Diamond Steeltrack® Focuser
Hello, I'm looking for a taller focus travel. I have a LX200 12' and I'm asking myself if 30mm focus travel will be enough. In fact, I've seen the RT version and I'm asking myself if the RT focuser won't fit onto my LX200.
I have an other question, which adapter do you recommend to be used between my LX and that focuser ?

Usually you mount the SC modell and focus with the original focus knob to a range that you can focus all your accessories furthermore with the Diamond Steeltrack SC. Please hold in mind that Meade sometimes uses sligtly different tolerances for the thread, We had some trouble with it in
the past. Which adapter you need for your telescope depends the thread you have. For the Steel Tracks you can find all dimensions under the Link
