Telescope Engineering Company, better known as TEC, is located in the US state of Colorado. Yuri Petronin, the company's president, produces apochromats of the top class.
Since 1994, the company has been producing high-end refractors for science and research as well as for public institutions and dedicated amateur astronomers.
As customers requested, TEC has started to offer astronomical binocular telescopes or "binoscopes". Such instruments offer an extrordinary usability and functionality for visual astronomy. The well-known advantages of binocular viewing can be found in perfection here.

- The Tube Rings are CNC machined for clean edges with black anodized aluminum that is scratch resistant
- Outfitted with adjustable stainless-steel latches and are able to fit the TEC Dovetail Plates, Losmandy Plates, and AP Plates for secure mounting
- Each Ring contains an upper base, an adjustable latch, and a lower base. The upper base of the Tube Rings also connects to the TEC Carry Handles for easy transport
- Tube Rings come with the purchase of the APO180FL / APO 250VT
