Manufactured as an adapter to adapt our Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV to (almost) any spotting scopes and telescopes – but also versatile for other applications.
2"a / T-2i Zero-length reducing piece (#2454833)
- Converts any 2" (SC) female thread into a M41.5 x 1 female thread - without extending the optical length
- Initially manufactured to adapt our Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV onto any photographic T-2 thread (see animation on the right)
- This adapter can also work as an expansion ring to convert a photographic T-thread into a male 2" SC thread
2"a / M48i Zero-length reducing piece (#2454834)
- Converts any 2" (SC) female thread into a M48 x 0.75 female thread - without extending the optical length
- Initially manufactured to adapt our Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV onto any photographic M48 x 0,75 (2" filter-)thread (see animation on the right)
- This adapter can also work as an expansion ring to convert a photographic M48-thread into a male 2" SC thread
2"a / M41.5i Zero-length reducing piece (#2454832)
- converts any 2" (SC) female thread into a M41.5 x 1 female thread - without extending the optical length
- manufactured to adapt our Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV straight onto any spotting scope - such as Bausch & Lomb-, Opticron- and Kowa-Base - equipped with M41.5 male thread (see animation on the right)
- Note: for fitting the optical nose of the Zoom into the receptor at some spotting scopes, the thin dust cover ring needs to be removed
2"a / M44i x 1 Zero-length reducing piece (#2454835)
- converts any 2" (SC) female thread into a M44 x 1 female thread - without extending the optical length
- manufactured to adapt our Hyperion Universal Zoom Mark IV onto most spotting scopes (see animation on the right)
- suitable for adaptation to Leica spotting scope with male M44 x 1 connection thread. Also suitable for all M44x1 threads according to the old Zeiss (Jena) standard.

- Prevents binding between two M48 threaded parts
