Solaris is a Polish scientific initiative which aims at searching for circumbinary extrasolar planets using a global network of robotic telescopes, consisting of four fully autonomous observatories located in the Republic of South Africa (Solaris-1 and -2), Australia (Solaris-3), and Argentina (Solaris-4). The headquarters and main database are located in Toruń, Poland.

The project is carried out since 2010 by the group of prof. Maciej Konacki from the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Centre of Polish Academy of Sciences.

The project aims to both search for extrasolar planets around binary stars, as well as characterise such stellar system. Accurate photometric and spectroscopic observations enable to determine basic parameters of stars with unprecedented precision.
