  • Scope of Supply of SkySurfer III includes the widest selection of individual adapters to mount the unit directly onto binoculars and beside spotting scopes as well as any telescope brand. The new double length housing makes it suitable for rough solar alignment by aligning the shadow, cast by the tube shaped housing.
  • SkySurfer III red dot sights - Adjustable LED visor viewfinder
  • Much easier to use than the popular Celestron and Skywatcher "Red Dot finders". Clear aperture is 30mm rather than 20mm
  • Long dew shields are mounted before and behind the lens to prevent fogging
  • The 1: 1 objective lens is non-reflective and darkens the sky much lower than competitive viewfinders
  • Mounts directly onto Weaver & Picatinny standard rails

I wish to mount my Skysurfer III on a Meade 6" Maksutov OTA in place of the regular Meade finder scope. None of the supplied brackets will fit. Specifically, the "standard finder scope" bracket is too wide for the Meade fitting. Do you have a bracket I can use?
(BTW the 6" LX85 Mak does not have other mounting points on the rear OTA rim).

Never again without one
I was looking for a red dot and this was an obvious choice: simple and light, Baader quality, and great flexibility of use thanks to the many bases provided including a Vixen-style bracket.
Now that I have it, I won't do without – and don't have to: the fact that so many bases were provided allows me to move it between my two optical tubes. In use, it's simple and effective and the perfect (should I say, necessary) complement to a RACI optical finder.
It's so light that I could affix the base to my Newtonian without drilling additional holes.
Before and after buying I requested extensive information + tips about installation, and I received that and more besides. That would be the subject of a separate review: customer care at Baader is beyond fantastic.
Prima!
  • Simple, light, good accessories, flexible application.
  • Nichts. Weiter so!

Leuchtpunktsucher
einfacher LED-Leuchtpunktsucher;
